Friday 4/24
Reading: Read chapter 3 of Bud not Buddy. Go to www.rissman.weebly.com, click on Bud Not Buddy and then click on the Bud Not Buddy link. If you need to catch up and start where you left off, go ahead, and read until the end of chapter 3.
Math: First go to www.iknowits.com and complete a lesson. Second, join Mrs. Rissman for a zoom meeting at 6:30 p.m. We will check our math pages from this week and discuss other important things you need to know. The invite will be on our classdojo story. Please join me!
Writing: Write your introductory paragraph for your essay using your prewrite and take a snapshot of your paragraph and send it to Mrs. Rissman through classdojo as a student. We will also discuss writing on our zoom call.

Writing (20 minutes): Read the passage Katherine Sui Fun Cheung again. Read the prompt. Begin to fill out your prewrite answering the essay question. You'll have to draw your own prewrite on paper like mine. I'll post my prewrite later. Get your thoughts down first and then you can compare to mine later.
